Good evening! PIH is back in 'Blogger' land. It has been quite a while since our last vist (3 years more or less). And much has happened since.
As a congregation we have embarked upon a 'journey' through the book of Acts. We will be looking at the second half of Acts 16. I personally have found the study fun and exciting.
Also we are preparing for are big 'move'. Where? Not sure yet but we trust that God will 'uproot' and 'replant' us right where he wants us to be.
Also God has blessed us with an opportunity to develop great 'connections' and 'friendships' with ministries in our area, and even beyond. What a blessing it is to know that we are part of a huge family and we are never alone!
Also we went from just having a Sunday meeting and a Wednesday prayer night to:
- Monday night women's prayer
- Tuesday night women's prayer
- Wednesday night all church prayer
- Thursday night prayer group - (Texas)
- Friday night bible study
- Sunday morning celebration
- Monthly women's breakfast meeting
- Monthly men's meeting (Barnabas Table)
- Quarterly National Elders and leaders trianing
- Collection of our 'World Reach' mission fund
- The Pure In Heart Flyers bike club
So there is a whole lot of things happening with this 'Church in the City Reaching the World'. Are you in? We hope so. More to come!
